Business Development Manager
Today Heating & Air is looking for a full-time salesperson to join the team that can support our growth. We are on pace to grow by 50% this year and want to continue that growth. To do that, we are looking for a person that can learn what our company is and sell it to potential new team members.
The Role
Recruiting is sales, not HR. You'll source top talent, manage the entire hiring process from first contact to start date, and build long-term candidate relationships.
What You'll Do
- Source candidates through headhunting, LinkedIn, and industry-specific platforms
- Screen resumes for red flags and conduct 15-minute initial calls
- Manage efficient interview processes (complete within one week)
- Use personality assessments to reduce hiring bias
- Check references and verify candidate claims
- Keep candidates engaged throughout the process because "time kills all deals"

- Sales-minded with strong relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented but focused on moving things forward
- Persistent with follow-through on candidate pipeline
- Quick learner who can pick up industry vocabulary to assess candidates
- Process-driven and comfortable with CRM tools
