The Business Development Manager – Industrial Solutions is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the sensor market, including HVAC/R, industrial, medical, and Datacenter applications. This role focuses on strategic customer engagement, market expansion, and partnership development to drive revenue and long-term growth.

General Responsibilities
• Oversees new account development within an established geographic territory/product line.
• Advises on connecting, contacting, and engaging new potential clients and prospects.
• Leads a strong and consistent pipeline of new business.
• Oversees customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
• Innovates and create sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services and customers
• Oversees implementing efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards, etc.

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target verticals. 

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new sensor technologies and platforms. 

  • Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, system integrators, and channel partners. 

  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to align customer needs with product roadmaps. 

  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform strategic decisions. 

  • Lead contract negotiations and support pricing strategies in collaboration with Sales, finance and legal teams.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

Base Salary Range:

$116,500.00 - $160,160.00
