DescriptionThe District Technical Sales Representative (DTR) will facilitate sales to the Division’s customers including distributors and their dealers through advice on the proper application, installation, operation, and service of the Division’s products.
This position will serve our Air Conditioning Division. This position is field based within the Texas area and must be based near a major US city.
Responsibilities- Provide advice regarding routine product installation along with service issues and refer more complex potential buyer’s questions to higher levels.
- Assist field organization with rapid and accurate responses to all sales target’s technical product inquiries.
- Maximize customer, distributor, and dealer sales by promoting the Company’s product installation methods, product service and diagnostic methods, and new product introduction.
- Communicate feedback from customers on any product problems, modifications, and alterations so as to help improve the overall image and quality of the Division’s products.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications- Associates degree in technical field
- 5+ years direct HVAC or industry experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Must be able to full perform physical functions of this role, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, crawl, and climb.
- Ability to travel roughly 50% of the time.
HOW TO STAND OUT:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Prior instructor/training experience preferred.
- NATE certifications preferred.
