ROLE: HVAC Sales Representative
POSITION SUMMARY:
The HVAC Sales Representative works with Total Energy Service team to maintain a 5-star experience for co-workers and customers through the sales process. This role works directly with customers to provide and explain all the information necessary for them to make an informed decision regarding their comfort needs. They are trusted advisors in this capacity and use their expertise, as well as their team�s capabilities, to complete the processes. The goal of every employee-owner on this team is to provide a seamless pre- and post-sale experience for all HB Home Services customers while practicing and promoting our mission statement and core values.
Compensation: $62,400 annually as a fully commissioned, non-recoverable draw, plus 2%�5% commission based on sales-generated revenue, with additional monthly and quarterly bonus potential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver a 5-star customer experience while offering HVAC solutions to new and existing customers.
- Create self-generated leads through creative and traditional sales methods to nurture and grow existing customer base.
- Execute on all sales opportunity generated from technicians & customer requests.
- Conduct new product research.
- Be a trusted informational resource for product education for company.
- Assist with service writing as needed
- Perform AQ jobs
- Partner with marketing and manager to produce leads needed.
- Follow up promptly with customers with repair estimates, scope of work and time frame to complete
- Explain PHVAC options and necessary information pertaining to each customer in a manner that assists them in making an informed decision regarding their home comfort needs and demonstrates value to them
- Accurately input required information into necessary software system to properly process estimates
- Research and source products for customers using a variety of tools, including computer system, catalogs, websites and industry and store contacts
- Work with the Purchasing and Design Team on price setting
- Respond in a timely manner to all internal and external customer inquiries
- Work with Sales Manager toward the creation and implementation of proven process
- Assist with sales training of technicians
- Collaborate with Dispatcher to schedule jobs
- Strive to reach set sales goals and closing percentage
- Service various Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Electrical Systems as needed
- Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
MINIMUM / PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- High school diploma, completion of G.E.D or appropriate work experience
- 2+ years P/HVAC industry sales experience with residential customers preferred
- 2+ years industry experience in residential PHVAC preferred
- Must be proficient in computer, tablet and smart phone skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
- Be able to read, understand and work with drawings and specifications

The role requires the ability to occasionally lift and carry equipment, tools, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, color distinction, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus for working in various lighting and environmental conditions.
