Mountain View Window and Door Inc. is a Colorado window and door supplier offering contractors and homeowners alike, complete customer service.  MVWD takes great pride in everything we do, do things right, stand behind our work, services, and most importantly, our Team Members!  

  • MVWD is expanding and in need of two permanent, full-time Outside Sales Professionals (Trusted Advisors) one on the Denver Team and the other on the Grand Junction Team.  If you are an ethical salesperson that knows how to close a deal, wants a steady income with a team-oriented professional company and a collaborative environment… this is your opportunity!
  • You will be set up to succeed from day one.  We provide extensive sales and product training, full support as you learn our systems, processes and adapt to our company culture.  We have a phenomenal website, with a Virtual Experience showroom tour, that provides leads on a daily basis.
  • Our sales team focuses on new construction in the commercial, residential, rural, industrial and remodeling home improvement sectors.
  • CLOSING DEALS and ASKING FOR THE SALE must be part of your repertoire, if not, this position is not for you.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Network, meet, build and maintain relationships with, architects, contractors, designers and homeowners to diagnose needs, discuss design options, present solutions and CLOSE deals!
  • Generate sales opportunities through research on client needs, industry competition and learn the features and benefits of company products.
  • Obtain product orders, with detailed measurements and specification information over the phone or in person; act as liaison between purchasing, inside design staff, production staff and customer; trouble-shoot issues in the field on all types of products such as building materials, millwork, and structural building components.  Maintain contact with your customers.
  • Actively engage in increasing knowledge of sales techniques, and developing product and industry knowledge through attending company training.  We have an amazing, nationally proven sales process that is consultative based and completely professional!
  • Assist clients, as needed through each step of the sales process, addressing concerns promptly to increase customer satisfaction.

 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in outside sales is a must for this position!
  • Construction industry knowledge is a big plus.
  • College degree, or history of setting and completing long term goals.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • CLOSING DEALS and ASKING FOR THE SALE must be part of your repertoire, if not, this position is not for you.  There are many skills necessary to being successful in sales, and you may have some of them, but you need proven experience closing the deal. Order takers are a dime a dozen.
  • Have a proven competitive drive to make more money and get more out of your job.
  • Have an amazing work ethic and take ownership of errors (we all make them, but we will not retain staff who do not take ownership of their own mistakes and resolve difficult situations).
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.  Resilience and perseverance.
  • Work collaboratively within a structured team environment.
  • You must be willing to change old habits, receive constructive feedback, be coachable, and learn new sales systems and processes as we ask a lot from our team.
  • Account Executives and Account Managers are encouraged to apply.

COMPENSATION

  • We offer a small base salary, plus commissions to get you started, then converts to a 100% commission plan which is designed to optimize performance and reward hard work! It's fair, balanced, competitive and most importantly, the ceiling is NOT CAPPED! Typical first year sales is anticipated at $80,000 - $100,000, however, you can quickly exceed $125,000 based on your dedication to hard work, your skill set and abilities.
  • Employer contributes to medical plan, has a matching 401k plan, and pays for employee Life and AD+D Insurance plan.  Dental and Vision plans are available.
